Sunset

"The beauty of a sunset is

a splendour to behold

Sometimes the sky's afire

with tints of red and gold. "
Through this painting I have
tried to show this splendid
beauty of sunset.

The Kashmiri Girl

Kashmir - a paradise on earth- is laden with exquisite beauty. Its beauty is manifesting itself not only through its landscapes, mountains, rivulets and babbling brooks but also through myriads of living beings. Delicate beauty, fragrance, sweetness fairness and indescriptable freshness of Kashmir Valley mingle and bloom in the form of a Kashmiri Girl with a load of faggot tied to her back.

This painting of mine depicts this freshness of the Kashmiri girl.

women with pots

Rustic beauty has its unique savour. A village girl and that also in the prime of her youth-natural, simple, unassuming engaged in household chores with big pots on both sides in hands can easily steal the heart of any passerby. In this painting I have tried to capture this simple yet unmatchable beauty.
